27/04/2012 River conditions

Please be aware that our section of river is now on red boards http://riverconditions.environment-agency.gov.uk/
This means that paddling sessions are now only for experienced paddlers:
All paddlers must wear buoyancy aids
All paddlers must be of division 6 or above
All paddlers between division 4 and 6 must be accompanied by a level 2 or 3 coach and will preferably be in K2
All paddlers to be in groups of 3 or more
Our advice is to go no further than Bourne End bridge, and to turn just downstream of it.
As soon as the banks are no longer visible then NO paddlers are allowed on the water.
Please could everyone follow these rules, they’ve been put in place for your safety and form part of our agreement with Longridge for paddling in these conditions.
